I had a good result with the egg retrieval and several embryos that were genetically normal, which was great—but my uterine lining was still very thin around 4mm. While I was mentally preparing myself for surrogacy, my heart was not fully in with the thought that I would missing the joy of motherhood and experience my baby grow within me
My doctor put on dosage for improving my lining and with a 1mm increase suggested that we try for an embryo transfer. After my first two frozen embryo transfers (one failed, one chemical), my doctor suggested a surrogate. Since this was only a year after I started “trying,” I felt there could be other options where I could avoid surrogacy.
That's when someone at the clinic suggested My Good News. It was like a breath of fresh air, I didn’t need to get in line first thing in the morning for 30–60 mins with two dozen other women for blood work, and I was always given the option of seeing my doctor for monitoring. The doctor had the right list of tests and was able to establish very quickly that a growth factor treatment could give the needed boost to my endometrium which systemic dosage was failing to generate.
Coupled with the deeply personalized growth factor treatment, I was given diet, lifestyle and fitness program that completely altered my health and well being. Magically within 1 week my endometrium had grown to 7.8mm thickness and my doctor was excited when she shared the scans.
My Good News team also worked along with my embryologist to establish the most suitable of my remaining 3 embryos and selected the best. I am 12 weeks pregnant now, and while the whole experience was tough but emotionally and physically am very happy today that I meet the nice folks at My Good News!
I hope my story encourages others suffering from PCOS. I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 20. I always wanted to have children, and the PCOS label concerned me, and I thought I'll seek help when I reach that life stage. I was thinking that would rather just take some pills to get pregnant.
Now 33, I still wanted children so much, maybe even more so. And that is precisely what I did, fertility medications, metformin and other pills to try to suppress the PCOS and make me ovulate. Nothing happened except my stress spiralled out of control.
When I got in touch with the My Good News Team, and took my assessment it was clear for me that weight and diet were significant factors for my PCOS symptoms. They changed my diet, my lifestyle, and my fitness plan. OMG, I started losing weight!
I lost 7 kgs and had more energy than ever before. With the constant encouragement and support from My Good News doctors I was super fit. Then, in April this year, I was driving home from work and felt unusually exhausted. I was pregnant! Six weeks pregnant!! Since, I wasn’t having regular periods, I didn't know.
I am doing great and conceived by making diet, fitness and lifestyle changes and I feel great. Honestly, I would not have known what and how to do it, without the guidance of My Good News doctors and nutritionists.

We had been trying to conceive for over a year without success and decided to get some tests done. I did not want to waste time as delay leads to further ageing and complications. My results weren’t good, and it looked like I had no eggs left and I was going into early menopause.
My Doctor advised me to consider donor egg based on my AMH (egg reserve) and FSH reading (hormone level that makes follicles grow in the ovary). While this was always an option, I was feeling incomplete, inadequate and extremely confused. I was so overwhelmed with so many emotions.
A friend of ours recommended My Good News to us. I created my free fertility report and score and understood that there were treatment options that could help me grow my own eggs. We consulted with Dr Monica to understand it better get her opinion. It was a completely different experience for us.
And I was beginning to see hope. It was promising all of a sudden!
It was a busy couple of months, starting with plasma treatment then diet-lifestyle, fitness routine. I felt so light and positive, thanks to routine charted by my doctor and good news experts. The doctor first treated my low AMH condition that would help with eggs and then proposed a Intrauterine insemination (IUI) a couple of times. We were pleasantly surprised that my AMH and FSH readings were under control and in the second IUI cycle I conceived.
From the moment I downloaded the App to hear my child's fetal heart beat, it was such a positive experience. The entire team of My Good News was so supportive and encouraging and helped with all my questions and queries. We are so thankful we choose My Good News and the journey we went through to get where we are today.
When I became pregnant the first time, I was so confident that we would be carrying our bundle of joy home after 9 months. I had seen a million ultrasound scans over the years because of various friends and family having babies so I knew what to look for.
As the image came up on the screen I knew something was wrong. There was nothing but a small circle in the middle of the image.
The sonographer said I had had a missed miscarriage and the baby had stopped developing at about 6-7 weeks.
I went completely numb. No tears. No shaking. Plain numbness.
I had an operation that afternoon and I cried for the rest of the day and several days after that. I was totally devastated. And my husband suggested that we take a break and gave ourselves time to heal.
After almost 14 months I found out I was pregnant. And I was terrified this time. All the previous thoughts started catching up. I remember at times myself physically holding my stomach with my hands as if to somehow keep the baby in there. When I was about 6 weeks I started spotting. My heart sank. And I was told that I miscarried again!
I was angry at myself, my inability and everyone around.
Particularly every pregnant woman I saw. I wanted to punch those who got pregnant who I didn't think deserved a baby.
For a long time I remember my husband and I not even talking about this. In fact we would avoid any remote reference to pregnancy or kids. And my feeling of despondency kept growing.
That's when my doctor suggested that I try Regen treatment to improve the receptivity of my uterus. She explained to me how my uterus was not receptive to growth of foetus, and improving receptivity through simple growth factors therapy could be beneficial.
I googled and came across My Good News and felt that along with growth factors treatment, the changes to my fertility health could increase my chances.
Then in Feb I got pregnant again. The Conception coaches at My Good News were so understanding and helpful. The encouragement they gave me particularly before every scan helped me overcome my worst nightmares.
I gave birth to our angel in October! And I wish I had found My Good News earlier.
